IAAPA seminar on designing for children

Designing facilities, entertainment, activities and areas for children, as well as to be family- and mom-friendly, is no easy task. It requires an understanding of children's development and all the associated design considerations for children's environments.

On Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 1 p.m., our CEO Randy White will conduct a seminar at the IAAPA Attractions Expo 2005 in Atlanta, Georgia, entitled, Adults are from the earth, children are from the moon: Designing for success with children. Randy explains, "Most leisure venues target families for a substantial portion of their business. However, all too often, the facilities are designed only for adults. This can set children up to feel incompetent, be bored and misbehave, diminishing the experience for the entire family and other guests."
