Competitive socializing with soccer

We have been seeing a wide variety of social gaming experiences along with a strong food and beverage eatertainment component that combined offer what is being called competitive socializing or socialized gaming. They include ten pin and duckpin bowling, axe throwing, darts, driving ranges (Top Golf), golf simulators, and miniature golf. Now along comes TOCA Social, combining an immersive soccer (football) simulation system with food and beverage.

The first TOCA Social opened in 2021 in London. The company has signed a franchising agreement to open one in Monterrey, Mexico, followed by 19 more in Mexico over the next ten years. The first U.S. TOCA Social is scheduled for early 2023 in Dallas. The company has plans to open 75 venues globally.
