Clean restrooms means more revenues and profit

The latest Healthy Hand Washing Survey conducted this January by Bradley Corp. found that nearly half of Americans say they will “definitely” or “probably” spend more money at a business that has clean, well-maintained restrooms. Nearly 6 in 10 say they make a conscious decision to visit a specific business because they know it has nice restrooms, while more than half say they are unlikely to return to a business after experiencing a poorly maintained restroom.

When our company develops projects for children and/or families, we always include children's height sinks and dedicated diaper changing tables with hand wash sinks.

It appears that restroom conditions are generally getting worse. 70% of this year's survey respondents report having an unpleasant restroom experience, a steady increase from 59% just three years ago.

Top restroom frustrations include having to walk across a wet floor (women in particular), reaching over someone for soap and waiting in line for a hand dryer.
