Doc Brundy's sodacad under construction

We're really excited about Doc Brundy's and its delectable diversions, one of our projects currently under construction in Spanish Fork, UT, just south of Provo, UT. The project is a little challenging to describe. We call it a sodacade versus the popular category of barcades and beercades, as the vast majority of its trade area population is Mormon (LDS) who don't consume alcohol. So instead of an alcohol bar, it will feature a soda fountain with homemade ice cream and mocktail takeoffs on alcoholic cocktails and mixed drinks.

It will have pinball. In fact more pinball games than any typical bar or beercade - 70 or more unique vintage pinballs plus a few vintage classic video games in its gameroom.

But there's more. There will be six duckpin bowling lanes and a polished-casual sit down restaurant. We worked with our alliance executive chefs to create a contemporary and highly appealing and craveable two-sided menu that features both variations on classic comfort foods and more healthful items. There are even a few menu items that are whimsical takeoffs on classic Mormon dishes such as funeral potatoes and lime Jell-O. And what may be a first in the nation, every single item on the menu will be available gluten-free at no additional charge. In fact, with the exception of pizza and sandwiches where both gluten and non-gluten will be available, all the tasty recipes were developed to be gluten-free.

And of course, there will be party rooms and a larger meeting room.

Doc Brundy's is expected to open later this spring. Watch our enewsletter for more information once it opens.
