Today,
food is an essential part of the success formula for location-based entertainment.
In fact, practically all the long-term, and the vast majority of the most
successful industry concepts are eatertainment, about 50% food and 50%
entertainment.
The place to learn about the food component is the annual National
Restaurant Association Show May 20-23 in Chicago. It is a massive
trade show with just about every food vendor and supplier in North America
and 63 educational seminars. It will take you at least two days to walk
the trade floor.
