Our design and consulting work with agritainment and agri-tourism facilities has been growing. The terms agritainment and agri-tourism are used to denote farm-based entertainment attractions such as adventure corn mazes, Halloween attractions, children's discovery farms and farm-based direct marketing operations, such as farmer's markets and pick-your-own. There is already a national organization representing agritainment called the North American Farmers' Direct Marketing Association (NAFDMA) that has an annual conference.
The first issue of our newest enewsletter will be published in late May.
Although many agritainment facilities have the same problems and issues
as other forms of location-based entertainment, they also have unique
issues. So we have decided to launch a new free quarterly enewsletter
publication to address agritainment's unique challenges: Agritainment
Today. The first issue will be sent out by e-mail in May. Click
