Bowlero continues to expand. In their fiscal year ending June 30, 2024, they acquired 22 existing bowling centers and opened three new builds to end the year with 352 centers of which 346 are located in the U.S. That's 13% of all U.S. bowling centers.
Their centers are operated under the Bowlero, Lucky Strike, and AMF brands.
There was an insignificant change in same-store sales from the previous year, only a $79 decline to an average same-store revenue of $2,975,000. Considering there was 3% inflation over that 2024 fiscal year, same-store sales actually decreased 3% when you factor in inflation.
Total revenues were $1,154 million. Bowling revenues are slightly less than half the total revenues (48%). Food & beverage is 35%, and amusement (arcades, etc.) is 15%.
Their food & beverage cost of goods sold was 23%, and payroll and benefits were 25% of total revenues.
