Electric Shuffle embraces socialized gaming
In another article in this issue, we suggest that socialized gaming be renamed competitive socializing to better capture its essence. Socialized gaming has been applied to bowling, darts, reimagined driving ranges (Top Golf), and axe throwing. Now along comes Electric Shuffle with two original venues in London and now one in Dallas. They have reimagined shuffleboard as socialized gaming by redesigning the shuffleboard table to accommodate up to 24 people playing together while they eat and drink, watching one of their party play.
