The amount of leisure time Americans spend on the average day is on the increase.
That's the good news. The bad news is that there are more and more options fighting for a share of that leisure time, including all the digital screen options that are gaining in the amount of time Americans spent on them.
Today, location-based leisure venues are in a battle for not only a share of consumers' discretionary entertainment and leisure spending, but even more so for a share of their leisure time, as consumers now have so many things they want to do and so little time to do them all in, better known as (perceived) time poverty.
