The expression the Dog Days of Summer, considered to be the hottest, most sultry days of the summer, dates back to the Romans who associated the hottest days in the summer with the star Sirius, which they considered the 'Dog Star' as it was the brightest star in the constellation Canis Major (Large Dog). There can be no question that for most of America, the MENA region and other parts of the northern hemisphere, we are definitely experiencing the Dog Days of Summer.

The Dog Days are a perfect opportunity to find a comfortable seat in a cool spot with an ice cold drink and enjoy some reading. We hope our Leisure eNewsletter with its new banner will find its place into your reading materials.
