Mass customization has come to Vietnam with the choice of 30 different yogurts and 50 toppings.
In our August 2009 eNewsletter, we published an article on mass customization. One of the concepts we discussed was Yogurtland, where you serve yourself by choosing from combinations of 16 different yogurt flavors and over four dozen toppings. Well, the West is not the only market where customers like mass customization, evidenced of course by the worldwide spread of Starbucks. While in Vietnam, we ran across Bliss Yoghurt, a mass customization concept similar to that of Yogurtland. Bliss offers 30 different fruit-flavored yogurts and 50 different toppings, priced by weight.
