The National Institute for Early Education Research (NIEER) recently published a policy brief on how states can build higher quality early childhood facilities.
The specific policy recommendations show how we, as a nation, can increase technical capacity to improve facilities we build -- and overcome financial barriers to developing such facilities. This report concludes that without better quality early care and education facilities, we will never be able to reach our goals of providing a high quality early care system. You can download the full report, "Building Early Childhood Facilities: What States Can Do to Create Supply and Promote Quality," from the NIEER website.
