Da Nang, Vietnam
The White Hutchinson team has been learning a new culture while working on a large multi-use building in Vietnam. The project is in the city of Da Nang and the building is quite large and complex, around 150,000 sq. feet. It includes a children’s edutainment center, a family entertainment center, ice skating, private karaoke rooms and restaurants.
A favorite leisure activity in Vietnam is karaoke. For those of you who are uninitiated, karaoke is where you get together with friends and sing along to songs. It is a very popular social activity in parts of Asia and when I lived in Hawaii it was also popular there as well. The project will have many karaoke rooms for parties and we recently conducted our first on line survey of customer’s preferences for this style of party.
