Keynote Speaker, Fundraiser, Early Childhood Science Magnet School,
Buffalo, New York
Vicki Stoecklin spoke to educators and business and community leaders about the
importance of nature education at a fundraiser held for the outdoor classrooms
at Buffalo Public School 90 on Sept. 20. Her speech was “Preparing
Today’s Children to Be Future Earth Stewards.”

Vicki Stoecklin is a featured
speaker at the annual National Association for the Education of Young Children
Conference and will discuss “Creating
Environments that Sustain Children, Staff and our Planet: Understanding How
the Green Building Movement Affects Young Children.” Her session will
be from 12:20 to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11. Vicki has invited Ania
Shapiro, an architect from the General Services Administration, to present
with her, as this agency is a leader in the development of child care centers
that meet green building requirements. We hope to see you there!
