Vicki Stoecklin, Education and Child Development Director at White Hutchinson, joined a team of designers in a major urban city to procure the winning design for a LEED platinum-certified child care center. (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, or LEED, is a "green" buildings rating system of standards for environmentally sustainable construction.) The 40,000-square-foot facility for a hospital is located in a high-rise parking garage. Our scope of work will include interior programming, space planning, an infant/toddler courtyard garden and a rooftop play garden. We'll share additional information as the design progresses.
