Many
childcare centers have been built with sinks that are not the right size for
the children who are occupying that classroom. A difference of a couple of
inches can make the difference for the sink working or being too high, requiring
a step stool in order for children to reach it. If you are one of the unfortunate
centers that had a designer miscalculate the height of your sinks and you
need a safer step than an open step stool, check out the Step-Up-N-Wash at
www.wooddesigns.org.
This step seems to be safer than others I have observed and includes handholds,
closed backing and non-slip treads.
