Current projects

It has been a very busy summer for us, the reason we haven't had time to publish a new Leisure eNewsletter until now. We've been working on 12 different active projects for clients:

  • Buffalo, NY - completed preliminary design and finishing financial feasibility for an adult-oriented CLV that will include bowling, escape rooms and indoor go-karts
  • Phoenix, AZ - working with client on site selection and lease negotiation for a small children's play café
  • Milwaukee, WI - working with client on site selection and concept for a CLV with a destination restaurant, bowling and other interactive social games
  • Greater Cincinnati area - developed preliminary plans for a 54,000-square-foot addition to a family lifestyle recreation and fitness center for our client of 14 years.
  • Gig Harbor, Sound Puget Sound, WA - construction work is progressing on our CLV project for a November opening. We’re currently working with executive chefs on the local sustainable menu development for the destination restaurant and bar, overall project management and management startup. The fresh-from-scratch restaurant’s name has been announced. It will be Table 47. Table 47 is owned by long-time Gig Harbor resident Troy Alstead, the former chief operating officer of Starbucks.   • Spanish Fork, UT - construction has started on this 15,500-square foot sodacade CLV that will include a soda fountain café, duckpin bowling and vintage pinball and vintage arcade games.
  • Greater Rochester, NY - competed market and economic feasibility and preliminary design for 36,000-square-foot CLV that includes a destination restaurant, bowling and a gameroom.
  • Aruba - working with client on site selection and concept development for a CLV with social bowling, a destination restaurant, gameroom and a rooftop deck with bar and interactive games.
  • Sterling, MA - Completed our annual audit and consultation for business growth and improvements for Davis Farmland, our client of 24 years. Working with them for the planning for their all-new Davis Fall Mega Festival that will feature local craft beers and a wide variety of BBQ.
  • Greater Reno, NV area - completing feasibility for an indoor-outdoor CLV that will include a restaurant, social bowling, gameroom, sports betting room and outdoor miniature golf, family and slick go-kart tracks
  • New Hampshire - conducted audit and consultation for improvements to an existing seasonal outdoor FEC. Started work on concept expansion plans.
  • Republic of Dominica - working with client on market feasibility, site selection and concept development for a CLV that will include a restaurant, bowling, a gameroom, a street side deck and outdoor patio area.
  • Lewiston, ID - working with client on site selection and negotiation for a riverfront CLV that will include a rooftop bar and deck.

In addition, in July Randy went on his annual summer tour of different agritainment and agritourism farms with the Agritainment Study Group of farmers he's a member of. This year it was farms in the greater Seattle area.

And in July, we completed the last 3-day Foundations Entertainment University for 2017 in Chicago with a sold out attendance. Foundations Entertainment University will be going into its 16th year in 2018.
