Provided schematic design documents for the renovation of three outdoor areas
into a separate play gardens for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school
age children. The gardens include play elements such as a texture crawling
path and pull up bars for infants, toddler water play, a construction area,
permanent area areas, picnic tables, ADA ground accessible sand boxes, custom
climbing structures and a drive through tryke tunnel.
The Child Development Center at Queen's College, Inc., Flushing,
NY
Provided a one-day consultation on the renovation of an outdoor play space
into a play garden for children ages 2-10 years old. Conducted a design charrette
with teachers to gather their input into the renovation project.
Early Childhood Facilities Design Institute, Kansas City, MO
Conducted the two-day training session for thirty participants on the renovation
and/or construction of indoor and outdoor space. Participants in the group
included Head Start staff, tribal child care leaders, licensing staff, child
care resource and referral staff, architects and child care directors. The
