This month's Leisure eNewsletter is exceptionally short as we have been up to our elbows traveling and working with two new agritourism clients and one who has been our client for over 25 years.
I'm heading down to Orlando for the IAAPA convention next week and will be there Wednesday and Thursday. If by chance you'd like to meet, email me at randy@whitehutchinson.com (www.whitehutchinson.com/ randy@whitehutchinson.com) .
Rather than include any of our own articles in this issue, which we haven't had time to write, we're recommending that you read an insightful and thought provoking article by Jim Kessler, Why did the Out-of-Home (OOH) Entertainment Industry Apocalypse Happen? (www.linkedin.com/ pulse/ why-did-out-of-home-ooh-entertainment-industry-happen-jim-kessler/ )

Jim pretends he's writing the article 20 years in the future looking back and discussing the causes of the out-of-home entertainment venue apocalypse that took place starting in the present year. Due to operators' and suppliers' misguided believes of what is required for success, he sees the industry shrinking by 50% and the cinema industry by 70%
Jim's article is long - 8,369 words to be exact. He predicts only 1 out of 10 who are in the industry will start to read his article and less than 1 out of 100 will finish it. My recommendation is READ IT COMPLETELY TO ITS END!!! Click here (www.linkedin.com/ pulse/ why-did-out-of-home-ooh-entertainment-industry-happen-jim-kessler/ ) to read it.
Hoping you have an enjoyable Thanksgiving.
