Editor's corner

It been a busy time for me since our last eNewsletter. I've attended both the National Restaurant Association enormous show in Chicago and the Restaurant Development+Design magazine's Tour the Design Trends in Chicago. Then I've been traveling to both our Ocean5 and Table 47 project on the West Coast that opened and the Sunriver Resort where we've started work on feasibility and design on both eatertainment and aquatic centers. I've also consulted with the three different Harbes Family Farms (www.harbesfamilyfarm.com/ ) on the North Fork of Long Island, NY on layout, design and growth strategies.

We have a lot of great information in this issue. You can read about our two projects that have opened, Rufus & Bee in Lagos, Nigeria and the cutting edge Ocean5 and Table 47 eatertainment center; the return of the Rock-afire Explosion Band from the 1980s; some pertinent demographic information and some very relevant trends impacting the FEC and CLV industries that everyone needs to be aware of and take into consideration in their plans.

Later this week I'm off to our Doc Brundy's project in Utah that will be opening in July and will be visiting our client of 24 years, Davis Farmland and Davis Mega Farm Festival in Massachusetts, on management and expansion.
