The most popular beers; it's a great time to be a beer lover
The following shows the breakdown of 2015's most popular beers (and hard ciders) by category in cases sold at retail locations and percentage change from the previous year.


Nearly 9 in 10 (88%) beer drinkers agree that it's a great time to be a beer lover. When looking at what they love about beer so much, 7 in 10 (70%) say they enjoy trying new types of beer and nearly two-thirds (64%) are fans of local beers. This is especially true of craft beer drinkers as 86% are fans of local beer.
Thirty-somethings are the most passionate about beer. Among this age group of beer drinkers, 95% say it's a great time to be a beer lover and 85% enjoy trying new types of beer. They are also the most passionate fans for local beers.
