Editor's Corner

We just made it to get this May issue out in May. It's also the shortest eNewsletter we've published in quite a few years. The main reason is that we have been very busy with projects and as our chief eNewsletter writer, I've been traveling a lot this month.

In addition to our continuing work on these projects:

I also traveled to the greater Seattle-Tacoma area to work on our South Sound social hub project that is under construction, attended the PSFK 2016 Ideas that Transform conference in New York City and attended the mega National Restaurant Association Show in Chicago.

Just a part of three large halls at the NRA Restaurant Show

I'm always surprised how few people in the location-based entertainment industry attend the restaurant show. Today food and beverage is often the major anchor attraction for centers. If you want foodie quality food, and today that is what it takes, you won't learn about it at Amusement Expo, the IAAPA shows or other industry shows.

Hope to see some of you at our 38th Foundations Entertainment University (www.foundationsuniversity.com) in Chicago in two weeks.
