Singapore Productivity Association
Randy White, CEO, provided consultation to the Singapore government on how to make local businesses more family friendly by auditing business establishments and child care centers. He also gave the keynote speech, "Developing World Class Pro-Family Businesses," at the Pro-Family Inaugural Conference.

Catholic Charities, Kansas City, KS
We rewrote job descriptions for an early education center this nonprofit organization operates in the city's urban core. We assisted with recruiting, interviewing and selecting a new early education director and attended collaborative meetings with community partners for early education. We also selected new equipment and completed the furniture layout for a model toddler room.

Denver Association for the Education of Young Children, Denver, CO
We provided training on how to renovate the outdoor environment to use nature as the play element.

Cherry Creek Presbyterian Church, Englewood, CO
We provided on-site consultation regarding the environment to a church that operates a preschool, playschool and a children's ministry. Surveys and meetings were conducted with staff, parents and church members regarding their interest in upgrading and renovating the children's wing.

Institute On Creating Sustainable Environments for Young Children, Lied Lodge and Conference Center, Nebraska City, NE
We provided a two-day Institute along with our design team on how to create indoor and outdoor sustainable environments. Participants created action plans for follow up in 2009.

Nebraska Association for the Education of Young Children, Lincoln, NE
We provided training on "Creating Sustainable Environments for Young Children."

World Forum on Nature Education, Nebraska City, NE
We served as a facilitator for the second World Forum on Nature Education.

Update on Family Leisure Projects

We are working on full market and financial feasibility studies, including the design of the preliminary site and floor plans, for two projects in Kazakhstan:

• Uralsk (Oral)
  About 23,000 square meters (247,000 square feet) of industrial buildings in this northwestern city are being renovated as a mixed-use adult and family entertainment and restaurant trade center.

• Astana
  A family pizza buffet-entertainment center is being developed in the country's capital city.

Boondocks Fun Center (www.boondocksfuncenter.com/ public/ meridian/ ) , Meridian, ID
We are conducting a market study and a performance and facility audit to determine expansion feasibility and better integration with the adjoining Roaring Springs Water Park (www.roaringsprings.com/ ) . The owner of the water park recently purchased this popular family entertainment center.

Sioux Falls, SD
We conducted a preliminary market feasibility and site evaluation for developing a bowling-based family entertainment center.

Tulsa Fair Grounds (Expo Square (www.exposquare.com/ es/ index.asp) ), Tulsa, OK
We conducted a preliminary market study and evaluation for the development of Tulsa resident attractions on an adjoining expansion site.

Greater Atlanta area, GA
We conducted preliminary market feasibility and site assessments for a children's play and discovery (edutainment) center.
