National program for playground safety announces classes
The
National Program for Playground Safety (NPPS), headquartered at the University
of Northern Iowa, offers several on-line courses for early childhood
professionals.
The courses include an interactive Early Childhood Outdoor Play Inspectors Program,
Playground Supervision for Child Care Providers, and Playground Maintenance. Course
fees range from $15 to $495. More information on the courses, playground
safety and access to outdoor ADA guidelines are at www.playgroundsafety.org.
