Valentine's Day in Morocco

In American preschools, kindergartens, schools and child care centers across America, we have just finished celebrating Valentine's Day. This photo is of my friend and colleague, Hind, and her first grade class at George Washington Academy in Casablanca, Morocco. Hind and I met in 1998 when I was in Morocco searching for leadership for one of our play and discovery centers in the United Arab Emirates. It has been fun sharing with her over the years our similarities in understanding and appreciating young children.
