Summerween is underway
The early Halloween push, Summerween, is making way for "Augtober" and the
pumpkin spice season. On August 22 nd, Starbucks
returned its pumpkin spice latte, the earliest rollout in the drink's 21
years. Supermarket shelves already have Chobani pumpkin spice yogurt and
creamers, pumpkin spice Cheerios, and pumpkin beer. 7-Eleven now offers
pumpkin coffee and a new pumpkin-flavored Slurpee. Krispy Kreme has a
pumpkin spice cake doughnut and pumpkin spice latte. Denny's is serving
pumpkin pecan pancakes. Carvel is offering pumpkin cheesecake. That's just
a few examples. The list of currently available pumpkin
foods is already endless.
By October, we will see the pumpkin and pumpkin spice foods expand to a
pumpkin frenzy.
