Each issue of our Leisure eNewsletters seems to end up with a theme. This month it is about the future of community location-based entertainment and family entertainment centers. And being the fall Halloween season, we haven't forgotten that corn mazes and agritainment are a significant part of the industry.

Both our Club Liko children's edutainment center in Cairo, Egypt and our Helio Center family and adult entertainment center project in Da Nang, Vietnam are nearing completion. Below are photos of part of the discovery play garden nearing completion that our landscape designer recently supervised at Club Liko and two rides manufactured by Wisdom Rides that were just packed in containers and shipped to Helio Center.

The big IAAPA Orlando show is just around the corner, November 18-21. I'll be there for the entire trade show and will be presenting at the Growing Your Revenue with Adults: A New Approach to FECs on Thursday at 9am.

If you haven't signed up for my email blogs or to follow me on Twitter, you're missing out on a lot of good news and information. Earlier this month on my blog I wrote about what appears to be a long-term decline in marriages and births, which of course, will have an impact on any centers that target families with children. Just last week reported on research on how open kitchens increase both guest and employee satisfaction.

Here's just a sample of the news items I recently posted on Twitter:

Our next Leisure eNewsletter will be a combined November-December issue to be published in December, again packed with information you won't find in any other industry publication. Unlike the other industry publications, we have the freedom to tell it like it is, as we don't take advertising.

Hope to see you at the IAAPA Show. Have a great Thanksgiving holiday.
